Hi dudes! I love your job! Its really great! I have been really surprised with your web and games based on Maniac Mansion, I always wanted to learn how to design a game based on it, but I dont understando your language cuz Im a spanish guy. Btw what tool can I use to translate the adventures in to my language?

And when will be the rest of chapters in the english version?

At the moment there are no plans to translate every game into English, because the project was planned to be German. I'm sorry, but the English versions are special yet.

The games are made with AGS which supports multiple languages. To translate a game to spanish, you'd need the english translation, as all MMM games' default language is german.
Simply ask one of the authors of the already translated episodes for the english translation file.
Open this file with a text editor, replace every english line with its spanish equivalent and send it back.

Btw, AGS is made by a british guy called Chris Jones, so you should be able to make your own MMM game by using the template on the MMM website.
You'll need a good unterstanding of AGS, though. The scripts in the template are quite well documented, but the only tutorial for understanding its special mechanics has not been translated yet.

Da ich selbst ohnehin nie dazu komme hier eine eigene Episode zu erstellen (obwohl ich trotzdem jede Episode gespielt habe ), biete ich gerne Übersetzungsarbeit an (allerdings nur ins Englische).
Es wäre ja schade, wenn die größtenteils sehr schönen Episoden nur aufgrund der Sprache vielen Leute vorenthalten blieben.

Ich komme auf dich zurück JuckSalbe, sobald ich mit meinen Episoden fertig bin.

Hehe ok, np. Well If I open a english.tra file with a text editor, rare symbols appear, and no texts from the adventure dialogue, with what can I edit the texts??

You need the translation source from the author. It isn't included in the game.

I think the easiest way would be to register here, go to the episode's thread and contact the author of the 1st post by sending him a PM.
