Naja man muss aber auch sagen, dass die echten Klassiker nicht gerade mehr werden.

Den Anfang machen "Sam & Max Hit the Road", "The Secret of Monkey Island - Special Edition" und "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis".
Außerdem ENDLICH X-Wing und TIE Fighter! Und "KotOR" ist ja auch ein bisschen Adventure-nah.

Mit den 30 Titeln dürften die Adventures locker abgedeckt sein, zzgl. "Grim Fandango", denn dessen Rechte liegen ja inzwischen wieder bei Double Fine. Die Remastered-Fassung wird dann ja sicherlich auch bei GOG zu haben sein. Ich kann mir zudem nicht vorstellen, dass "Maniac Mansion" als einzelner Titel erscheint, da es ja in "Day of the Tentacle" enthalten ist.

Steam hat allerdings schlechteren Support. Spiel wie Dark Forces II sind z.B. nur mit Fummelei und unter Windows 7/8 nicht im Vollbildmodus spielbar.

Würde Sinn machen, zusätzlich zu Dott, Maniac Mansion auch seperat als Freeware anzubieten, ist ja mittlerweile alt genug... Beide einzeln zu verkaufen, oder nur innerhalb von DOTT (was ja auch nicht jeder weiß) fände ich nicht so sinnvoll.

Allerdings liegt MM in einem eigenen Unterordner auf der DOTT-CD... einen eigenen Launcher dafür zu basteln wäre ja kein Akt. Ich tippe aber eher darauf, dass MM und DOTT einfach als Doppelpack kommen. An ein Freeware-Release glaube ich nicht.

Sicher? Hat Doublefine das nicht nur von Disney lizenziert?
Ich freue mich auch über X-Wing / TIE-Fighter und hoffe, dass auch noch ein paar andere Star-Wars-Spiele kommen (z.B. Rebel Aussault, X-Wing Alliance, Shadows of the Empire).

Oh, tatsächlich... das hatte ich wohl mit dem Rückkauf der Rechte zu "Stacking" und "Costume Quest" verwechselt.
Under new management, LucasArts licensed several of its intellectual properties, including Grim Fandango, to outside developers. Schafer was able to acquire the rights to the game with financial assistance from Sony, and started the process of building out the remaster within Double Fine Productions.

Könntest du bitte den Link zu dieser Meldung auf gog posten? Ich finde sie nicht - bei mir steht der Countdown noch auf 54 Minuten.

So, das Gerücht hat sich nun bestätigt.
GOG bietet folgende LA-Spiele an:
- Indy - Fate of Atlantis
- Monkey I - Special Edition
- Sam & Max - Hit the road
-Star Wars - XWing , TieFighter, Knights of the ...
und noch andere LA-Spiele, die noch nicht erwähnt werden.
Finde ich persönlich super und werde mir bei Gelegenheit bzw. wenn sie Sammelangebote/ Rabatte anbieten einige kaufen
Bis jetzt interessiert mich nur Sam und Max und eventuell Indy. MI habe ich schon auf DVD. Aber gegen Loom und ein paar andere hätte ich nichts einzuwenden

Das Erscheinen von "Sam & Max: Hit the Road" widerlegt auch, dass nur LucasArts-Adventures erscheinen, die es schon auf Steam gibt. Bin auf jedenfall froh, dass es die MI Special Edition jetzt auch DRM-frei gibt.

Gleich mal Sam & Max und Indy eingesackt, vor allem beim ersteren freut es mich, es endlich mal auf Englisch spielen zu können. Bisher gefallen mir aber einige Sachen in der deutschen Fassung tatsächlich besser, ist aber vermutlich Gewohnheit nach all den Jahren ...
Ich hoffe auch sehr auf Monkey Island 3, wenn sie jetzt auch GOG-exklusive Sachen anbieten. Der 4er wäre der Vollständigkeit halber natürlich auch schön, vor allem, wenn sie es optimieren würden, die Disc-Fassung bekomme ich leider schon seit Jahren nicht mehr brauchbar zum Laufen.

Was ich ja schöne fände wäre, wenn GOG es irgendwie hinbekommen würde, über ScummVM laufende Spiele direkt mehrsprachig zu installieren, so dass man in bester DVD-Manier während des laufenden Spiels die Sprache wechseln kann. Vielleicht ist das aber eher eine Aufgabe für die ScummVM-Entwickler?
